I enjoy the mindless fun but my husband is upset at how much I've spent on the game. The boosters cost way too much for what they are! Also I had to spend quite a bit of money just to get through level 435 since I was only given 13 moves. That level is literally impossible without many purchases of boosters. That was pretty crappy if the game.

The music keeps turning itself off since the latest update. Never had a problem previously. Now the sound effects don't always work either and the app closed itself and I lost the life and remaining moves I had left. Very frustrated at this point.
Fun game... As others have noted, changes lately are very glitchy and driven to boost purchases. Hated that you need to add friends to get free lives, but they have now put a limit on the number of free lives you can have. Boosters don't do what they are supposed to do and the algorithm has been changed to frustrate players. Used to be a relaxing and satisfying game, but now it's frustrating... Time to uninstall...
The more levels you pass, the harder it gets to win without making booster purchases. It makes the game less fun and a little stressful, sometimes taking over a week to pass one level without good powerups. The game will become harder during events that you can not opt out of, which used to be a feature. Player Beware, if adding a payment method or making a purchase, free boosters and ads decrease or disappear.
Cash grab - once I got near level 300 it was blatantly obvious you have to either get really lucky or spend money to continue. I had like 3 "legendary" levels in a row that were borderline impossible. Not because it was a hard puzzle, but because it's completely random and you get like 10 turns to blow up way too much stuff. What's worse is every time you lose they pop-up offering to let you continue for $1.99! Lol no thanks.

One would think you would want to make the game fun for people, not super frustrating where nightmare hard levels are disguised as normal, and cone way too often. You will never get another dime of my money! The hints come way too often and way too soon. I would like to study the board and decide where to play next, i do not need the game played for me. If i wanted the game played for me, i would just watch a video. Turn off the nanosecond hints and let me play undistracted.
I love the competitions that have been added (the races, level rewards, etc.), and it's an addicting game, as always. What I love the most is that, while you *can* purchase the special items, there is plenty of them to be earned organically to keep the game fun, and allowing you to steadily complete levels without have to purchase these special extras. It's a unique circumstance considering other games that essentially require you to spend money to remain competitive.

It was fun for a while. Gets to the point where you don't pass levels if you don't buy stuff. Too many instances of failing a level just 1 move short of being able to win. Lots of wasted time playing the same level over and over again. When players become aware THEY are the product, the game loses its luster. Just another slot machine/skinner box

In 2013 I wrote this game was highly addictive but that it was glitchy and kept freezing. It's now 2021. I'm on level 4500 and something. I keep saying I'm going to quit over the glitches. Frequently, the game does not follow its own rules. Especially if you beat the level on the last move. It will stop combining colors even though there's 3 blue lined up together, etc. I have screen shot proof. It makes me so angry. But I keep coming back. 😔
