Revised review. This game has been a night time and relaxation ritual for me for a long time. I'm over level 5000. It's had it's quirks and issues for sure, but they've always seemed to resolve or balance. However, spending more time with ads playing than playing the game for a few scraps of boosters, moves or a life, and now with those ads constantly crashing the game no matter how many times cache is cleared, updates checked, and my device restarted... it's way more frustrating than relaxing.

Practical Guide

There are too many demands to purchase anymore. This used to be a fun game and occasionally I would pay to pass a tough level. Now it's few and far between I don't get stuck. But I push through, usually not paying. Today I was breezing through the levels, actually having fun. Level 3299, would've won the level in the last move with a blue combo on 2 gray blocks (only needed one). Didn't give me the final combo to win. Instead took the rest of the boosters I had to complete. Highly disappointed.

Very nice game. Great graphics,smooth game play. One big gripe - once you get to a certain point, the levels become so difficult that it pretty much forces you into in-app purchases in order to continue, and it will require many in-app purchases if you want to continue to move along to new levels. Additionally, there is no way to earn extra moves or helpful tiles other than purchasing them. Game is insanely predatory. You can easily spend 50$ a day if you're not careful. Because every little thing costs at least 2$ and even the most basic thing like adding moves cost 2$. It adds up super fast. The hard levels are set to make you spend money. I've even witnessed king REDUCING moves on certain levels because they feel it's too easy and not enough spending is happening. Pathetic company. The thing is you can't even just spend a few bucks because almost every level requires money.

I love the competitions that have been added (the races, level rewards, etc.), and it's an addicting game, as always. What I love the most is that, while you *can* purchase the special items, there is plenty of them to be earned organically to keep the game fun, and allowing you to steadily complete levels without have to purchase these special extras. It's a unique circumstance considering other games that essentially require you to spend money to remain competitive.

My game crashed right after passing a level however it didn't save the progress so when I restarted, I had to redo the level. I lost my "goodies bag" streak as well. I had the streak going for 25+days. Those boosters help a lot in passing some of the harder levels but now I don't have it anymore. I tried emailing them only to get an automated response. I just want my streak back. The email said if the steps didn't help, to JOIN / sign up to be in their community. I am not interested in joining.

They push you to buy and buy and there's no other way to pass levels but just if you buy stuff, otherwise the levels are hard and harder and it's impossible to pass and advance, without it it becomes absurd with the amount of moves they give you, it just doesn't make sense. Clever for them $ but waste of time and money for the people. Expensive game, look for other choices and free ways to kill your time. Bye Candy Crush!

Been playing since 2014 or whenever this game started. Currently on level 4767. Bring back the free daily wheel. And it would be nice if teams and contests for levels were fair. It's much easier for someone in the first 2000 levels to get more levels in a week than someone that's playing at the 4000 level range. I've been playing less and less over the past year because I'm getting bored doing the same level all week. I'm not going to buy more boosters if I lose all the free boosters in a level

This game is fun until it literally forces you to spend actual money to beat certain levels. My fiance has been sick on the same level for 5 days. It's ridiculous and sad and fowl. You guys haven't even given her the ability to watch ads to help her beat the level because you just want money. If she is stuck any longer, I'll uninstall and we will go play something elsewhere.
