I've been a dedicated Candy Crush player for several years. I'm at level 4108. Although I still play the game I must say it's just not that fun anymore. It takes numerous attempts to pass any level this high in the game. I'm talking days to pass even a (non nightmarish level). I'm no longer "swiping the stress away". It's just too frustrating.

The same can be said about my extras in the game. I go into the level and I'll have certain things go missing or it will show I don't have any and I did. I rarely use my extra items so I know it's not me. Disappointed in this game buts it's my favorite until I find something better.
They have ruined the game. Removed ability to preview levels. You lose all of the robot bonuses now if you lose one level. They just want you to buy gold bars. Bonuses and level ups reward you with free lives, which means nothing to master level players. The levels mess up and then you have to pay to extend. Not cool. Used to be a great game. After playing 7,000 levels, l am over the new restrictions.
For about the first 400 levels, this game is great. It's not too easy but not so hard it's not even enjoyable. Pretty much after that point, if you don't buy stuff it is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get past the level. They lowered the moves a ton on thousands of levels to force players to spend money on the game. Be aware that it's advertised as free, but it's not free. It's definitely a "pay to progress" game, just like all the others.
It starts out as a really relaxing game, a good time suck and just something to pass time. It seems that there are ALWAYS levels that you cannot pass without using powerups and purchasing them, and the suggested moves are so irritating and distracting because it happens instantly after you make a move, and they just waste your remaining moves. It used to be that you can keep playing levels for bonuses and powerups that you got to keep till you lost them, making you have to buy them.

I am obsessed with this game but like many other players, am finding myself frustrated. Less moves per level, more extremely hard levels, not as many freebies or boosters, no sugar drops. I mean...you guys are sucking the fun out of it. I play to relax, not get more stressed out. Please listen to your audience. Also, more unlimited life periods would be great.
I think after playing over 1,000 levels, waiting multiple days for more to open up is ridiculous! And has anyone ever hit the jackpot? The below comment is an older comment. But it seems that in order to "truly" complete levels, you HAVE to either buy something or link to Facebook; neither of which I like!! I don't want to HAVE to use a social networking site to elevate and I'd rather purchase the game initially, than to buy anything as I go! This game should be based on "skill" ONLY!!

I love matching games, but i uninstalled this one after only a few minutes because it would not stop giving me hints on how to match three or more candies, and there was no way to disable this feature. It was insanely annoying. Also, at a first glance the candies were too bright for ghe eyes, the patterns on many were so similar they weren't easy to mentally categorize as separate, and the puzzle layouts were waaaay too easy. No challenge.

I deleted it. As soon as you get rid of a bomb, a new one appears on the next move then another. Takes out the fun of the candy goal for that level. Also, rules of the game aren't explained well. And inconsistencies. It says the beanstalk reward is once every 24 hours but only appears once every 2 weeks. The game creators are sloppy.
