SPARE YOURSELF! This game is pretty addictive but can be VERY, VERY costly. Once u spend a single dollar on this game they've got u. They make it impossible for you to pass levels & you end up on the same levels for days. I have lots of "friends" in the game & I'm constantly asking for lives but only get 1 here n there. It's all about them getting more money from me. I've broke down & paid money so many times in frustration just to get past levels. Do yourself a favor & steer clear of this game!

Practical Guide

It starts out as a really relaxing game, a good time suck and just something to pass time. It seems that there are ALWAYS levels that you cannot pass without using powerups and purchasing them, and the suggested moves are so irritating and distracting because it happens instantly after you make a move, and they just waste your remaining moves. It used to be that you can keep playing levels for bonuses and powerups that you got to keep till you lost them, making you have to buy them.

Mobile Friendly

I love matching games, but i uninstalled this one after only a few minutes because it would not stop giving me hints on how to match three or more candies, and there was no way to disable this feature. It was insanely annoying. Also, at a first glance the candies were too bright for ghe eyes, the patterns on many were so similar they weren't easy to mentally categorize as separate, and the puzzle layouts were waaaay too easy. No challenge.

The core gameplay is fun. The problem is that this game isn't interested in letting you have fun, it wants to make money off of you first and foremost. "Hard" levels are often just difficult because they give you an unreasonably small amount of moves, and then bombard you with ads for packs you can buy to make the game easier. The popups between levels are agonizingly long and the language throughout the app is weirdly infantilizing. Can't opt out of all the contests and it shames you for losing

Candy crush has sold us out! Update, they have so many screens to click through that you accidentally end up using your gold bars unintentially, and they won't give them back. The gold bars are the only way to pass levels. I had saved up many of the power ups ever since I started playing, and I turned the game on one day, only to find out that all my power ups where gone! I am not happy about this and I don't understand why they were taken away!

Fun game, but essentially pay to play. After you get past the initial levels, you can get stuck on one level for several days unless you use "gold bars" for power ups and extra moves (which are hard to get without spending money, especially if you can't process any levels). If I don't get past my current level within a week, I'm uninstalling.

The game is a HUGE scam to get your money. The Legendary levels are completely unbeatable. Worse, your pins aren't permanently saved. They are deleted once you complete a collection. And I had a hard time trying to email the game makers. My advice: If you have OneDrive, IMMEDIATELY share the pins on it. Do not get this game. It will be an exercise in futility.

This is my first time playing this game, and let's just say I love it. This mindless game is at time very challenging but who isn't up for a little challenge? The only thing I would wish they change is that some of the levels are hard (it took me over 20 tries to complete) and there are not enough boosters or bombs to help. But other than that, fantastic game!

Game is fun to start, but at later levels becomes annoyingly frustratingly difficult unless you spend money on boosters. I would have to play a level 20+ times and just get lucky to get past it. At that point it's no longer fun, so I uninstalled. I just can't afford to blow money on a mobile game. (And I wasn't going to review but I keep getting ads asking me to come back. I do miss the fun parts but not the frustration)
