I’ve been playing Candy Crush on and off since it first came out on the iPhone 3. It’s still a lot of fun and a great way to pass time — simple, colorful, and surprisingly addictive. The early levels are satisfying and rewarding, but as you get further, it starts to feel more like pay to win than skill or luck. Still, it’s a classic puzzle game that’s hard to completely quit.

Not enough turns or possible chances of winning without buying a bonus. It's like trying to put a puzzle together but not being allowed to receive all the puzzle pieces until you spend money. I despise games that force you to spend money. If you want to charge me for a game then just say so from the beginning.
It's an addiction, and its pay a lot to play. The rewards are completely inadequate for the time invested. Having fun is way down at the bottom. Taking our money is #1. The rewards really suck coming from someone who is near Level 3000 and has been playing for 5 years. This company keeps getting more greedy everyday. I've spent a fortune, and I'm ready to delete the game. Don't get started and you'll save SO much time and money. Integrity does not exist in this company.
I use to love playing this game. So much so I'm currently on level 4219. However I can't say that anymore. It's funny how when I purchase extra bars BEFORE the start of my game, I have no problem. However I've noticed EACH TIME I've purchased extra bars when I have a few moves left to complete a level ESPECIALLY when I'm on a streak, the game drops EACH TIME & will give me my extra lives when it starts back over again. That's cheating in my opinion. With that being said, I'm deleting the game.
The game is a cash grab. I wouldnt even call it a game, it's a scam. They have perfected an app to separate people from their money. If you want to pass later and harder levels, you will have to spend money or you will fail levels 100s of times. The level of thought they put into this is ingenious and almost evil. Dont give King your money. I wont give them a dime.

I used to love this game, played it for years. but recently I have gone from passing 20ish levels a day to not being able to pass any except maybe 1-2 per week. I don't want to buy gold to get past every single level, but they're set up in way that if you don't buy gold you cant win. where as when you do buy stuff on the app, the levels all but win themselves by giving you boosters. if you aren't paying, the candy doesn't ever fall in a way that gives you boosters. app sucks
Level 48 is so difficult to pass. That level needs more minutes moves than currently provided. It's so frustrating to lose a level and have to 'x' out twice. How hard is it to understand I don't want to finish the level. It better to start over. I'm not spending a dime on this game. Rollover lives would also be great.

I remember downloading this app back in 2009. I was going through a very rough breakup when I downloaded this game for the first time. This game's soothing music was very therapeutic then, helping greatly. I opened the app again recently and felt that serotonin hit me immediately with the loading music. Love the music, please never change it. The game itself is a fun mind escape, yes some levels are harder to pass than others, but 100% suggest playing with the music on.

Look. This game is fun, it's addictive, it's relaxing. However, it gets to a point. When I can no longer pass a level for four days straight without feeling pressured to buy boosters and buy my way out, that's when I have issues. I don't mind the ads. I get it, gotta make that cash. However, I now often feel frustrated that I can't pass a level, especially after being completely unsuccessful. It's Candy Crush, not an extremely difficult, brain puzzling, strategy game.
