Update: I love this game, but I can't express how frustrating it is when the app keeps on fore closing in the middle of a game!!! I used to not care as much because I would still be able to keep my "helmets" for passing levels without dying. Unfortunately, that is not the case anymore! Look, I get losing them if you quit or cannot pass a level, but why lose them when the app crashed and/Or foreclosed BY ITSELF?!? Please fix it.
Explore ResourcesGame is freezing up after recent update! If you don't win a level, it pops up an ad or screen offering help for $.99. When I go to the top right to "X" out of that screen to try again, it will not let me. I have to force stop the app and then go back in every single time. Extremely aggravating!! Getting ready to uninstall if it doesn't stop soon because I am not paying to play, I'll download a different free game.
Fun at first, but after level 400 or so it's impossible to solve w/out paying for boosts. The sad thing is the levels aren't HARD, they just give you way too few moves to solve them, which = BORRRRINNNNGG. Once you reach that point, do what I do: delete, reinstall, and play the fun part again. Or just switch to Pet Rescue Saga - it's much more fun, actually challenges you w strategy, and doesn't require money to progress.
I've been playing a long time. I'm in the 3000's in regular Saga and 2000's in soda. I'm getting frustrated with all the super hard levels. I like a challenging level where I can figure out how to beat it but many levels just need more moves or luck to complete. And why do special pieces go off just when they fall? If I make a special piece I should be able to use it unless it matches. Anyway, frustrated in Candyland. Not really fun anymore.
The game is good but not what I had thought it'd be. Back when it was just starting out it was good and very engaging. Now its just like a money grab. Almost everything requires some kind of money to purchase or progress. The hints are unhelpful, the hard levels shouldn't be one immediately after the other, its too overwhelming and honestly not that fun. Some of the levels are nearly impossible to pass without a booster and the bombardment of ads and “gifts” after the levels is too much.

the developers obviously just care about money and nothing else. there's no way to get gold bars without paying, some of the "challenges" are blatant lies. (says it'll give you gold bars, but doesn't) some levels are impossible to beat without paying for extra moves, especially in the 500+ level mark, the life system is trash and just makes people play the game less, and it's just horrible. the core gameplay is fun, but everything else just ruins it completely.
I've never gotten this far and spent so much time every day playing this game due to these new updates. Having the battle royale in there and making it easy to earn gold makes me want to keep playing. I also love the option to watch an ad for more moves. The one or two things I don't like though is I've never ever landed on those stars for the booster wheel which is honestly ridiculous and sometimes the levels set me up for failure with what drops down..even if it's random..

Candy Crush used to be so much fun. Over the years it kept me from going insane with all of life's hurdles. But recently the designers have made it too hard to even pass the super hard levels even with the little extras you earn by watching ads. I have grown more frustrated and bored with the game. I am seriously considering uninstalling it altogether. And I hate the little fish. They are worthless. They don't help much in most situations. Most of the time they make me lose. Candy Crush Sucks!

Fun game but it fails sometimes, if you complete a level but get a call or switch your screen even momentarily to another app, it makes you redo the level, I've lost huge streaks this way and gold bars and crowns, since most I finish on my first try, but due to the glitch I have to do over and over again, till I pass again, this hasn't been just a one time thing, and it's very frustrating when it happens
