It was fun for awhile, but then it becomes very hard to earn what you need to get boosters without spending money. Also, I would be willing to watch ads to gain more moves, but this option was taken away. I deleted the game after spending too long on a nightmare level and was done spending money which was my mistake in the first place.

There are almost impossible to win without extra moves. The game also appears to cheat. The candy bombs go off by themselves. This makes me not want to purchase anything when I used to buy the pass.
I've been playing this game for almost 10 years, and I've always enjoyed it, until now! The animation seems to have sped up so there are times when I run out of turns but candy is still falling and I have a chance to get that last item needed to win, but the game ends before all the candy have fallen and I lose. Also not a big fan of how now when you win, the after game animation brings in all the candy, instead of just the ones you had during the game making it almost impossible to get 3 stars!
It is kind of fun and usually very easy. I have never bern able to do anything with the store or gold bars. Maybe beacause my phone is too full? Connecting to facebook sort of worked for a while, but not now. I'm not sure I ever had it connected to email. I had to start over at the begining of the whole game about the same time the FB connection quit. I don't care much though. I mostly just play when I don't feel like thinking.
The new versions have taken away the simple essence of the game. There are way too many pop ups, ads, distractions. It used to be pretty simple, open the app, start playing. Now you have to close 10 different items before you even get to the gaming screen. You sold out, candy crush. I think I'll have to say goodbye after 5 years together. Thank you for the memories.

I have been playing this game for a while and am on level 5926. I used to love this game but the second-to-last update has been really awful. You used to be able to use as many lives each day as you wanted as long as you had a cache of them saved from friends. Now you're only allowed to use 20 a day which seriously limits the amount you can play per day. Also, now when you win the challenge against 4 other players, you only get 10 gold bars instead of 20! Both changes suck the fun out the game.
This game has been great since day one, I have always liked it. There was a time when I stopped playing because it was impossible to progress without spending $ but, you've fixed that and it seems more fair to me. I went from "I will NEVER spend $ on a free game" to.."ok, that's not to bad" Nothing but fun!AND, 4 years later and it is STILL nothing but fun!!!

The good things about the game are that it's ad-free and the events are fun ideas. But the bad things about this game is that too many of the levels are hard- to-pass unless you spend money on gold/boosters/extra-moves and many of these hard-to-pass levels are consecutive especially, after level200. I'm currently on level299, but I'm frustrated with not being able to pass it(even with boosters), but not without buying gold/extra-moves. I may uninstall the app if they don't fix/change this.

Lol this game is a joke, they won't let you pass some levels unless you buy. Basically you will have one jelly left to break and you never get a combination close to that jelly. Edit: ok I installed this recently to see if it's any better but they started cheating outright. I had a game where there 4 greens lined up but didn't burst. My boosters timers which I got for 1 hour are just reduced to 30 mins. I cannot add friends to request for life. Just forcing you to buy and pass a level. Good job
