Game was fun until all the video ads. Don't click on the ads! Some of them are SCAMS. One I clicked on claimed it would ship me a product for free, no shipping. My credit card company immediately alerted me to a $46.95 charge. Calling to cancel the order go me a fast-talking run around a 25% refund, then a 75% refund, then a, "we'll still ship the product to you for $1" - lies, as they did eventually process a full refund and cancellation, buy not until I had been put on hold 3 times.

However, I constantly have issues with ads freezing, causing me to lose a game and lose super colour bombs. Also constantly saying no internet connection, so I can't buy boosters which causes me to lose and mess up a winning streak. I've done all of the things like clearing cache multiple times a day, restarting my phone and the app. It doesn't help. So, farewell again Candy Crush.
This game has levels that are unbeatable without paying for power-ups. It tries to sell you power-ups after pretty much every level. I know the developers need to make money, but they could at least pretend it's more than a cash grab. After failing the same level ~50 times in a row (because I don't want to spend money on a free game), I uninstalled the app.
I've enjoyed this game every so often for a few years, only dropping gameplay because of some frustrating level I don't want to pay to pass. I will occasionally spend a dollar, once a year, to get past some of those particular levels, which I did last week. But now I'm stuck on another. Stupid. Level. I'm not going to pay money to advance every other level, that's ridiculous to me. Either create a game people can actually PLAY to advance, or just price the game itself. I'm deleting the app.
In 2013 I wrote this game was highly addictive but that it was glitchy and kept freezing. It's now 2021. I'm on level 4500 and something. I keep saying I'm going to quit over the glitches. Frequently, the game does not follow its own rules. Especially if you beat the level on the last move. It will stop combining colors even though there's 3 blue lined up together, etc. I have screen shot proof. It makes me so angry. But I keep coming back. 😔

I would rate higher beings i really like this game..But i see 2stars as being "fit" bc i think its plum retarded to have to wait a certain "Time out"period to play again if you run out of lives..I'll stand by my 1st review in 2017 which is above, but I'll also add that I don't limit the piggy bank. It said I was full ar 22 gold bars and then try to hustle me to buy a hat of some sort for the piggy bank. I'm not going to do all that. I just want a fun game to play.
I love this game, but players are persuaded to make in-app purchases. I make purchases on occasion to advance in the game. My issue is with the fact that I am frequently put into positions where I can not continue without making a purchase, and after purchases, I am frequently kept from passing a level by cheating me out of moves. Either the game makes a play on my behalf or does not follow the game rules for play. Stop cheating us out of our money. Enough $ is made without cheating customers!

I absolutely enjoy playing this game! I've played over two thousand levels but I'm about to quit. This is why I gave a three. I continuously play multiple levels and win finish lines. I've finished three and gotten treasure chests a few times. Yet, it only registers I played and beat four levels on the weekly race last night and one tonight. That's not true and we all know it can't be with other things I've won. Weekly race needs to add up as well.

I had to close 9 pop-ups for events or other. Nine! I like that the game is good to pass time but it's also extremely annoying. You don't need to spend money to win, but you may play the same level ~20 times before the rng works in your favor, sometimes with but usually without power ups. I have 200+ power ups that I have not bought, free ones and rare usage. It is weird when you get to 100 on one type - it just says 99+ but seems to keep accurate track despite not showing the real count.
