I remember downloading this app back in 2009. I was going through a very rough breakup when I downloaded this game for the first time. This game's soothing music was very therapeutic then, helping greatly. I opened the app again recently and felt that serotonin hit me immediately with the loading music. Love the music, please never change it. The game itself is a fun mind escape, yes some levels are harder to pass than others, but 100% suggest playing with the music on.

It's a money grab. You can't earn through play the gold bars you need to purchase the power-ups, which are required to pass higher levels. When I lose 15 lives on a single level without power-ups, and the only way to get power-ups is by spending money, to call this game 'free play with ads' is blatant lying. It's a typical match 3 game, relatively enjoyable, but I hate being lied to, and if I'm willing to deal with ads, I shouldn't be forced to spend money to pass levels.
Greedy game company! I've spent money on this game, because I enjoyed it. They make levels that are impossible to complete without continuing to need to charge my card for more and more in game "boosters" and tools. They have gotten greedy and I deleted the game. I would have kept playing and regularly would have spent a little money on the game. Been stuck on one level for 3 days, because of these bombs they place in the game. Absolutely greedy, so they lost a paying player.
I've been a dedicated Candy Crush player for several years. I'm at level 4108. Although I still play the game I must say it's just not that fun anymore. It takes numerous attempts to pass any level this high in the game. I'm talking days to pass even a (non nightmarish level). I'm no longer "swiping the stress away". It's just too frustrating.

This game is very addictive. But I just want to address an issue a few others mentioned about not being able to collect rewards because the video won't load. That happens to me all the time. Annoying. But I found that if I click again after the error message, I usually get the video to play. May have to click it a couple times with a couple seconds in between tries. Always ends up working.
Aggravating, because at the higher levels every level gets so difficult it's ridiculous. Unless you purchase extra boosters. I refuse to spend money just to pass a level. So, I just uninstalled this game. I loaded the upgrade. It's even more aggravating than the original. I played level 562 at least 100 times. It's IMPOSSIBLE to win finding 2 frogs landing spaces. I never even found one. I am beyond frustrated. I will never play any 'Candy Crush games again.

I just reached level 2000+ on another device then the prices for purchases went up. Why??? We were given MORE TIME. Thats ridiculous since most people don't have the time to play all day long. Come on!!! Make the time separate. Don't even get me started with the algorithm that completely takes away the ability to win the jackpot. I still love the game, but for these reasons and more I went from a five star rating to a 2 star rating.

I can make about 5 turns on my own before the game takes over control and a bunch of random stuff keeps happening. I thought I'd get more autonomy to enjoy playing this bejeweled-style game as I moved up the levels, but even at higher levels it still felt like I only got about a minute of actual game play in between a lot of cute stylized nothing. I can't believe THIS is the game that has been referenced in so many tv shows and pop media.
